Try Church.

This is an invitation. It is our latest invitation to those who are not currently part of the church that assembles for worship. If that’s you, please “Try Church.” You are missed and needed.

Trinity will (along with a few other Galesburg congregations) be sponsoring invitation ads in the Register Mail newspaper in the days leading up to the first weekend of the New Year. We are hoping to match our invitation to the resolve (or resolutions) of those who want church to be part of their lives. We want to encourage those who have some desire to be part of a worshipping community.

You can help with this outreach effort.

If you are not presently regular at worship: Try Church. Become a regular who can enjoy and support the community of believers in this place. Bring a friend. Make a friend. Be a friend. Try Church.

If you are regular at worship: suggest that a friend or relative “Try Church.” Invite them to come with you to worship during the first weekend of the New Year. Tell them why you are regular at worship. Ask them what they might need for a growing spiritual life in 2009. Offer to help them receive support and express their faith at Trinity.
